Call 311 to report snow-covered curb cuts or blocked sidewalks.
If additional assistance is needed, requests can also be made through the Mayor’s Office at 215-686-2181.

Snow-covered curb cuts and sidewalks create serious barriers for people with disabilities. These are not inconveniences — they are accessibility issues.

Accessibility does not pause for weather.
Curb cuts are essential infrastructure, and safe mobility matters.

South Street District is looking for 15-20 artists, sign painters, type designers, graphic design artists, and illustrators to create art for lamppost banners that capture the unique history and spirit of South Street.

This is a beautification project with a goal of supporting and highlighting Philadelphia’s creative community. These banners will help identify the district while welcoming visitors and residents and will have a special page built out on our website to honor the chosen artists. Applications will be accepted until January 30, 2026. Follow the link in our bio for the application
