Some of our friends replace their shoes every 3 months..

When should you replace your tennis, pickleball, workout or running shoes?
(if you run or workout often)

The rule of thumb is every 6 months or when you start to see wear and tear within or on the outside of the shoe.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Don't Skip the Warm-Up! Your Feet Will Thank You πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
At Northeast Family Foot Care, we see it all the time----foot and ankle injuries that could have been prevented with a proper warm-up!
Your feet contain 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Jumping straight into exercise without warming them up is asking for trouble.
Why Warming Up Matters for Your Feet:
βœ… Increases blood flow to muscles and tendons, making them more flexible and less prone to strain
βœ… Improves range of motion in your ankles and feet, reducing the risk of sprains
βœ… Prevents common injuries like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and stress fractures
βœ… Enhances performance so you can move better and feel stronger
Quick Foot Warm-Up Routine (5 minutes):

Ankle circles (10 each direction, both feet)
Toe curls and spreads (repeat 10 times)
Calf stretches (hold 20-30 seconds each leg)
Light marching in place
Gentle heel raises (10-15 reps)

Remember: Cold muscles and stiff joints are injury magnets! Take just a few minutes to prepare your feet before any workout, sport, or long walk.
