Health Promotion Council (HPC) is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to promote health, prevent and manage chronic disease, especially among vulnerable populations through community-based outreach, education, and advocacy. HPC's unique programs advocating healthier lifestyles, together with its innovative work with underrepresented minority groups, have advanced the field of health promotion in Southeastern Pennsylvania and across the state. Established in 1981, HPC became an affiliate of Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a leading public health institute in the region, in 1999.

Full Circle Moment 🟡

After high school, I joined a service organization, and when we were asked where we saw ourselves in 10 years, I wrote: “I want to be a positive leader in my community.” Fast forward to today… and here I am.

I am proud to be a leader who makes a difference in my community, and working for HPC has provided me with the tools, opportunities, and experience to become the leader I always aspired to be. There’s so much joy in serving others, and that’s why I’m asking you to give to HPC this giving season. Together, we can continue to create positive change and impact those who need it most.
