So glad to be getting out and about again in this very pretty weather Philly!! Come say hello this Sunday!

Upcoming Peace of Mind | Mental Health Screening Event conducted by THE PLACE OF REFUGE will take place during the potluck lunch after Bethel Temple Community Bible Church’s regular Sunday service (11:00am-12:30pm) next Sunday 10/16/2022 from 12:30pm – 2:30pm.

REFUGE will have tables set up at Bethel Temple 228 E Allegheny Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134 —at B & Allegheny Ave.

This bilingual, mental health wellness event will be a chance to drop by and check-in with a professional counselor. If you ever wondered about counseling for yourself or someone close to you—then this is a great way to find out more!

REFUGE counselors will be conducting free, on-the-spot, mental health screenings and will have two of their Master’s level therapists available to meet with you and go over your results right away. Screenings will be available in English and Spanish, and there will be information shared about common mental health challenges and wellness resources. They will also be sharing information about REFUGE’s own unique faith-based counseling approach.

Grace and peace this Easter Day!

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I." (Isaiah 58: 8-9 NIV)

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (Psalm 91: 1-2)
