Big news! The summer clinical research immersion program is back for it's third year. Current high school juniors, seniors, and college students are invited to apply for this all-day, week long, robust program where they will learn principals of clinical research and get a behind the scenes look at day to day hospital operations at Shriners Children's Philadelphia.

Are you a patient interested in joining our Patient Ambassador Program?

The Patient Ambassador Program was formed in 2018 as a way to connect patients to each other and to the Shriners Children’s community.

So what is a Patient Ambassador? A Patient Ambassador is a current patient and/or his or her family member that supports the Shriners Children’s mission through compassion, philanthropy and advocacy. They serve as positive role models in their communities and donate their time to promote the hospital and share their personal experience with others. Through this program patients will have the opportunity to share their story with other patients, Shriners, donors, and the public.

The East-West Shrine Bowl, the longest-running college football all-star game in America, kicks off TONIGHT at 6 p.m. CT, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Since 1925, this historic game has supported Shriners Children's and our mission to provide exceptional specialty care for kids.

Ross and Robbie, members of our Motion Analysis Center (MAC lab) recently attended the Polynesian Bowl benefiting Shriners Children's. During the player visit, the mobile motion analysis display was showcased allowing them to highlight our motion analysis services.

For over 40 years, Shriners Children’s has been utilizing motion analysis technology, similar to what you might find in a Hollywood movie, in each of its 14 state-of-the-art motion analysis centers, making it the largest pediatric motion analysis center in the world.

Born with congenital scoliosis in Central Province, Panama, Isabela has been in pain her entire life.

She could not play sports or do much physical activity at all because of her scoliosis, a sideways curvature of the spine, and kyphosis, an abnormal forward curve of the upper spine causing a “hunchback” appearance.
