Best of 2025 ✨ This year we celebrated Ken Flynn, Shriner Driver from Rajah Shriners who made his 400th trip to our hospital.

We recently clapped it out for Ken Flynn, Shriner Driver from Rajah Shriners who made his 400th trip to our hospital! Friends and staff were ready to greet him with clappers, noisemakers and signs when he arrived.

Best of 2025 ✨ Meet Piper a resilient scoliosis patient who was able to return to the sport she loves after spinal fusion surgery. Read more about her story from her mom, Zoe, below.

"15 yr old Piper is a 5x National Champion cheerleader. Despite full-time bracing through middle school, her scoliosis continued to progress. When her curves reached surgical range she worried that tumbling and stunting would no longer be possible with a fused spine. As a family we decided to travel from Texas for the research based approach and superior skill that Shriners Philly has to offer.

Piper underwent posterior spinal fusion with Dr Pahys just 6 months ago and has already been hitting the mat. She’s regained most of her skills, stunted in a pep rally at 3 months post op and even made All-American Cheerleader this summer!"
