We’re still in awe of our team, who recently returned from their two day November Puerto Rico Outreach Clinic. Members of Shriners Children’s Philadelphia saw 384 patients and 878 appointments across all services, including clinic, therapy, and orthotics and prosthetics.

A huge thank-you to our staff, Shriners, volunteers, and community partner hospital for making it all possible — together, we’re bringing specialty care closer to home. Who wants to play Candy Land? We do! 👋🍭

Our patients recently played Candy Land together, with added in bonus questions to make the game more personal. This included questions about the patients' emotions, their favorite things, and some mindfulness exercises.

They even won prizes at the end!

Kruz is one of our brave patients at who has had multiple surgeries to treat Erb's Palsy, a type of Brachial Plexus injury. When he was born, he could not move his left arm and his left hand curled behind him.

Now, he can use both arms and hands to play with his big brother, Kasen. He has come so far, and gets stronger every day!

👀Look at this special donation - $2,222.22!!

Pat (left, in the photo) came along with some friends to donate teen gifts on behalf of her year as the "First Lady" of Zembo Shrine. Often, each year they will pick a project to raise funds and collect items for, and then make a donation. Zembo Shrine is one of the many Shriners International chapters that supports Shriners Children’s Philadelphia.
