With the Rite Aid at Academy Plaza closing this weekend we just wanted to let those affected patients know that we are gladly accepting new patients at Academy Pharmacy. We are family owned and, along with Fairdale Pharmacy, have been serving the community for over 17 years. Just give us a call and we can handle the transfer for you. It’s the end of an era at Academy Pharmacy this week. Laura is retiring this Thursday. If you have been a customer for years, or have just been to our pharmacy a couple times, chances are you remember Laura. She greeted everyone like they were an old friend, always with a warm smile and a willingness to do whatever she could for you. She truly cared about our customers and treated them like she would her own family. To say she will be greatly missed is a huge understatement. Congratulations to Laura on a well deserved retirement!!! There’s still a few days before her official retirement on the 30th, so if you would like to stop in and say goodbye I know she’d love to see some old friends!
