Inglis Enabling people with disabilities - and those who care for them - to achieve their goals and live life to their fullest

We champion independence through innovative, life-enhancing services and communities. For nearly 150 years, Inglis has provided services and programs designed to maximize the independence of adults with physical disabilities, at Inglis House, in more than a dozen housing communities in the region and through community-based services across Pennsylvania. Our mission is to enable people with disabilities – and those who care for them – to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. Today, Inglis serves more than 2,000 individuals annually. Animal-assisted therapy offers more than cuddles, it supports emotional well-being, reduces stress and anxiety, encourages social connection, and brings moments of calm and joy to residents. These meaningful interactions help boost mood and quality of life. Who couldn't have a good day when they're snuggling with a guinea pig or pup?
