Behind every scar is a story of survival. And every story deserves to be heard.

This , we’re thinking of everyone affected by cancer – those currently fighting, those who have survived breast cancer, and those supporting loved ones through it.

You are not alone. Your experience, your story, and your life beyond cancer matters. This day and every day, we hope the breast cancer community supports and encourages each other to keep telling these stories and finding solace in one another’s experience.

If you feel called to, share what brought you the most comfort through treatment or offer a word of encouragement to someone you know who is currently fighting. Even a small gesture of support can make a world of difference.

It’s — a reminder to do your self chest check.

If you feel something, say something.

1. Know your body. Understanding what feels normal to you matters most.

2. Notice something abnormal? Call your doctor to review.

3. If something feels off, advocate for yourself and ask for additional screening — knowing is always better than not knowing.

4. If a lump, bump, or skin change leads to a diagnosis, seek out resources to help guide you.
