The challenge was started by Betty White fans to celebrate her life and legacy with a gift to a local animal rescue for what would have been her 100th birthday today. Betty was a true animal lover who promoted pet adoption and gave generously to animal welfare organizations throughout her long life, and we are so grateful to every person who honored her with a lifesaving gift.
