A wonderful local family celebrated the life of their matriarch today. She was a local girl, went to St. Timothy for gradeschool and St. Hubert Highschool, then lived and raised her family in Pennypack Woods. She left a legacy that represents her faith and a life well lived. Her daughter is a teacher at St. Hubert, her granddaughter is a teacher at St. Matthew Grade School. A great many students have been taught life lessons as a result of the way their teacher was raised. In reality, the departed had and will have influence in the lives of thousands of kids that will eventually become adults. That's a legacy to be proud of. Her family toasted her with shots of Irish whiskey as she was being laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery. Your local undertaker may or may not have had a shot along with them.... 💚
