Project RIDE

University of Pennsylvania’s Project RIDE (Rapid Initiation of Drug Treatment Engagement) is a research project that is dedicated to helping those who struggle with opioid use by providing medication and treatment right from our mobile unit! Located at Broad St and Passyunk Ave in Philadelphia, PA, we provide those who are eligible with medication and counseling for up to 30 days or until entered into a treatment program.

Project RIDE is apart of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine under their HIV/AIDS Prevention Research Division. RIDE also partners with other organizations, including Public Health Management Corporation, Prevention Point Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
