Together with our partners at PYB, Jefferson Health Plans continues to show up with resources that support youth athletes and their families. From engaging conversations on confidence and health, to sharing Medicaid and CHIP plan resources and education, the Unrivaled activation brought our community commitment to life.

Last Thursday, Jefferson Health Plans was proud to stand alongside community partners like Philadelphia Youth Basketball and Philadelphia Sisters for an evening focused on wellness, empowerment, and the impact of women’s sports through the Unrivaled Basketball activation.

Our ongoing partnership with PYB allows us to keep showing up in trusted spaces with resources that support youth athletes and their families, both on and off the court.

The warmth was truly felt at our Women’s Hat & Coat Drive at the West Philly Community Wellness Center.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and our partners No More Secrets MBS, Inc., we collected women’s hats, gloves, and coats to help keep our neighbors warm this winter.

Jefferson helped carry on a legacy of generosity, service and partnership at the annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service hosted by Global Citizen.

Jefferson leadership, elected city and state leaders, colleagues, students and members of the community gathered for a day of volunteerism to benefit local families in need in memory of the late Dr. King.

Philadelphia is said to have the largest MLK Day of Service in the nation.

Sharing Excess

We’re excited to share a new collaboration between Jefferson Health Plans and Sharing Excess to help reduce food insecurity and bring fresh, healthy food directly into trusted community spaces. Through monthly food distribution pop-ups, supported by the Jefferson Community Health Collaborative and the Jefferson College of Nursing, families will have access to produce, wellness education, and on-site health screenings.

Together, we’re creating more pathways to care and healthier futures.
