Every year, we are continually amazed at the generosity of our community in support our clients and their families! This year is no exception, as we have had an outpouring of generous holiday donations, including over 700 toys, numerous hats, scarves, quilts, and personal items to be distributed.
We would like to acknowledge the following individuals and organizations for their holiday donations:
-GayBINGO! Philly attendees from our 11/8 and 12/13 events
-The Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. who donated over 100 personal toiletry kits
-Bell Atlantic Pioneers
-The DVLF, Our Night Out Philadelphia, Councilmember Rue Landau, City Council President Kenyatta Johnson, and all the attendees of TOY 2025 on 12/3
-Loop Yarn, who donated hats and scarves
-Getting to Zero Philly (www.gettingtozerophilly.org), who donated over 400 toys and over 100 gift cards
-Carolyn Boxmeyer, who donated handmade quilts
-Esadiva Maven, creator of E's Tees & More, who donated over 50 toys collected as part of her 13th annual personal toy drive
-Our volunteers, who tirelessly acted as Santa’s elves to sort, itemize, and assemble items to be distributed
As a result, more than 70 families with over 165 children (and counting!) throughout the Philadelphia region will be able to experience a holiday season filled with joy. Thank you for warming our hearts and brightening the season for our community!
