Cross, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with board scores that put him in the top three percent nationwide, graduated as an AOA honors society member from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He received his general surgery and plastic surgery training at Cornell University, with residencies at New York Presbyterian Hospital on Manhattan's Upper East Side, and Columbia University on the Upper West Side. With luminaries in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery as his mentors, Dr. Cross also practiced in the Park and 5th Avenue offices of his professors, as well as at Manhattan's Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, two of the country's epicenters for cosmetic surgery. As a research fellow at Northwestern University, Dr. Cross conducted clinical studies on aging skin and techniques that promote fast, effective healing; he later acted as the primary investigator for the Tissue Regeneration Project at Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Cross has authored five textbook chapters and has published extensively on aspects of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, routinely presenting research results and papers at national meetings throughout the country. With his return to Philadelphia, Dr. Cross brings with him both traditional as well as the newest and most advanced techniques in esthetic surgery--ranging from surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation to body enhancement and body contouring procedures--and maintains an academic appointment at Cornell University Medical Center. His repertoire includes all areas of plastic surgery, especially facial procedures, breast augmentation and reduction, and the full complement of body procedures. Dr. Cross' philosophy centers on evaluating each procedure's approach through the lens of each patient's completely unique existing issues, as well as their hopes and goals. He then uses his breadth of experience to ensure that his patients receive long lasting, natural appearing results that reach their esthetic goals. Rather, the correct procedure must be chosen based on the needs of the individual. Dr. Cross believes that good plastic surgery means that a patient should not look as if they have had plastic surgery, rather they should look more harmonious and rejuvenated. Let’s talk about your UPPER LIP 👄

We’re back with another episode of CAN YOU FREEZE IT, and this week we’re talking about SMOKER’S LINES!

Smoker’s lines (also known as lipstick lines) are those fine vertical wrinkles that form around the upper lip from years of repetitive movements like pursing, sipping straws, or yes.. smoking.

So.. CAN YOU FREEZE IT?

YES! A small amount of Botox (or another neurotoxin) can relax the tiny muscles around the mouth to smooth these lines and soften the overall look of the upper lip. Although, for the most correction, we recommend combination treatments with toxin, filler, and laser skincare!

✨ The Ultimate Duo for radiant, healthy skin

Meet BBL + MOXI: two powerful Sciton treatments that work beautifully on their own, but even better together.

💡 BBL (BroadBand Light):
This advanced light-based treatment targets pigmentation, redness, and vascularity - evening out skin tone, fading sun damage, and stimulating collagen to restore that youthful glow. Think clearer, more even skin with zero filter required.

🔥 MOXI:
A gentle yet effective non-ablative fractional laser that refines texture, minimizes pores, softens fine lines, and enhances overall luminosity. Perfect for patients who want visible results with minimal downtime. MOXI rejuvenates the skin from inside out!

❓ Why combine them?
BBL corrects what you see on the surface: discoloration, redness, and age spots. While MOXI rejuvenates what’s beneath: texture, tone, and glow. Together they create a comprehensive resurfacing effect that improves both clarity and quality of the skin.

For best results, we recommend a series of BBL + MOXI treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. With each session, collagen production builds, pigment continues to fade, and your skin looks healthier, brighter, and more youthful over time.

Brighter. Smoother. Healthier. That’s the power of BBL + MOXI!

Is the “Vertical Facelift” really a new thing.. or just a buzzword? 👀

Here’s the truth 👇

The term “vertical facelift” may sound groundbreaking, but most modern facelift technique already lift vertically to restore natural contour and avoid that “pulled” look.

So while it’s effective, it’s not necessarily “new” — just smart marketing for what skilled surgeons have been doing all along.

The real takeaway is this: It’s not about the name, it’s about the hands behind the technique.
