Cross, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with board scores that put him in the top three percent nationwide, graduated as an AOA honors society member from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He received his general surgery and plastic surgery training at Cornell University, with residencies at New York Presbyterian Hospital on Manhattan's Upper East Side, and Columbia University on the Upper West Side. With luminaries in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery as his mentors, Dr. Cross also practiced in the Park and 5th Avenue offices of his professors, as well as at Manhattan's Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, two of the country's epicenters for cosmetic surgery. As a research fellow at Northwestern University, Dr. Cross conducted clinical studies on aging skin and techniques that promote fast, effective healing; he later acted as the primary investigator for the Tissue Regeneration Project at Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Cross has authored five textbook chapters and has published extensively on aspects of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, routinely presenting research results and papers at national meetings throughout the country. With his return to Philadelphia, Dr. Cross brings with him both traditional as well as the newest and most advanced techniques in esthetic surgery--ranging from surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation to body enhancement and body contouring procedures--and maintains an academic appointment at Cornell University Medical Center. His repertoire includes all areas of plastic surgery, especially facial procedures, breast augmentation and reduction, and the full complement of body procedures. Dr. Cross' philosophy centers on evaluating each procedure's approach through the lens of each patient's completely unique existing issues, as well as their hopes and goals. He then uses his breadth of experience to ensure that his patients receive long lasting, natural appearing results that reach their esthetic goals. Rather, the correct procedure must be chosen based on the needs of the individual. Dr. Cross believes that good plastic surgery means that a patient should not look as if they have had plastic surgery, rather they should look more harmonious and rejuvenated. Postpartum hair shedding is common. And while it’s temporary for many women, the amount of hair loss can still feel alarming. After pregnancy, shifting hormone levels push a large number of hair follicles into a resting phase, leading to noticeable thinning along the hairline, temples, and part.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections offer a way to support regrowth during this phase. PRP is created from your own blood and is rich in growth factors that help reawaken dormant follicles, improve scalp circulation, and extend the hair’s growth cycle. When injected into the scalp, PRP can strengthen existing strands and encourage healthier, thicker regrowth over time.

For postpartum patients, PRP is a natural, drug-free (breastfeeding safe) option that works with your body’s healing process. Treatments are quick, require little downtime, and can be safely paired with topical or oral therapies when appropriate.

Hair loss after pregnancy doesn’t have to be something you “just wait out.” With the right intervention, you can actively support your body in restoring the hair you recognize as yours.

Dr. Cross doesn’t do injectables… on purpose.

Dr. Cross shares why he made the intentional decision to step away from injectable appointments, and it comes down to three things that benefit our patients.

1️⃣ We’ve built one of the most exceptional injectable teams in the industry. They train constantly, stay ahead of trends, and deliver next-level results every single day for their patients.

2️⃣ Dr. Cross isn’t the kind of surgeon who operates and disappears. He’s deeply invested in his surgical patients, seeing them through every post-op visit and every stage of recovery.

3️⃣ This shift allows us to reduce wait times for surgical consults and procedures, so patients who are ready for surgery can be seen sooner.

It’s not about doing less. It’s about doing better - for every patient, at every step.

No under-eye cream in the world can correct anatomy 🙅🏻‍♂️

A lower blepharoplasty can make a profound difference when under-eye fullness isn’t caused by tiredness, but by anatomy. Over time (and often genetically), fat pads under the eyes can herniate forward, creating persistent bags that don’t respond to creams, lasers, or injectables.

With precise removal and repositioning of this fat, Dr. Cross was able to provide this patient with a smoother, more rested under-eye contour, without changing his natural appearance.

A better rhinoplasty starts with preservation 👃

In this video, Dr. Cross explains his preservation rhinoplasty technique, a less invasive approach that focuses on refining the nose while preserving its natural anatomy and structure. By working with the existing nasal framework rather than dismantling it, patients often experience less swelling, less bruising, and an easier recovery.

Watch as Dr. Cross breaks down why this advanced approach is redefining modern rhinoplasty.

Collagen. Elastin. Consistency 🤩

If you’re serious about skin health and long term results, you need to know about microneedling.

Clinical studies show a series of 4 microneedling sessions spaced out every 4-6 weeks can increase collagen and elastin production by up to 400%. That’s because microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering your body’s natural wound healing response and stimulating new collagen and elastin fibers.

By committing to a microneedling treatment series, you’re not just treating the surface, you’re retraining your skin to behave younger while improving texture, firmness, tone, and overall skin quality from the inside out.

Collagen provides structure and strength 💪
Elastin gives skin its bounce and resilience ✨
Together, they’re ESSENTIAL for maintaining a youthful, healthy complexion.

Truly “healthy skin isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about smart, science-based stimulation.

Robots get a lot of hype, but hair restoration isn’t one-size-fits-all.

In this video, NP Bridget Bradenham breaks down why the human eye and hand play such a critical role in achieving natural, customized results.

Technology is a tool, not the treatment!

Regular dermaplaning is one of those quietly powerful treatments that does SO MUCH for overall skin health, especially when it’s done consistently and correctly.

Before we get into our reasons, let’s clear up a few things.

**Using a ti**le razor to “dermaplane” yourself at home is a big no-no!
**No, your vellus hairs (peach fuzz) will NOT “grow back thicker”.

Okay. Now why is dermaplaning regularly so important?

1. Consistent exfoliation = healthier cell turnover
Dermaplaning removes built-up dead skin cells from the surface, which helps normalize cell turnover. When that process slows down, skin can look dull, congested, and uneven. Regular exfoliation keeps the skin functioning the way it’s supposed to.
2. Improved product absorption (you get more from your skincare)
With that outer layer of dead skin gone, medical-grade skincare can actually pe*****te instead of sitting on the surface. Patients often notice better hydration, brighter tone, and more noticeable results from their home regimen.

3. Smoother texture + more even tone
By removing both dead skin and vellus hair, dermaplaning instantly smooths the skin. Over time, this helps reduce roughness, mild surface pigmentation, and uneven texture - creating a healthier-looking canvas.

4. Supports in-office treatments
Regular dermaplaning preps the skin for treatments like chemical peels, lasers, and facials by allowing more even energy or product pe*******on. Think of it as maintenance that helps your other treatments work better.

Bottom line:
Dermaplaning isn’t just about the glow (though that’s a nice bonus). It’s about keeping the skin healthy, balanced, and responsive - so everything you do after works better.
