Children Deserving Services (CDS) Program Director Belen Chase led an excellent workshop on Tuesday at Mi Salud Wellness to help youth develop coping skills to help manage stress, anxiety, anger, and sadness in safe and healthy ways. Belen utilizes her immigrant background, youth-focused therapy experience, trauma training, and community work experience to develop bilingual workshops that are uniquely impactful for the vulnerable communities that the CDS program serves. CDS provides therapy services to uninsurable children, and is now developing and delivering workshops to help reach more families in need of mental health supports.
