January is recognized as Mental Wellness Month - and for a very good reason.
Many of us see this time of year as a chance to reflect on our current lifestyle and look for an opportunity to improve in some areas. But, big changes or committing to a goal can be overwhelming and leave you feeling wiped out (especially post-holiday excitement).
Take some time to check in after these last few busy weeks. Taking care of yourself should be top priority - so get that much-needed sleep, eat those fruits and veggies and spend a little extra time with the ones you love. Taking care of our physical needs and focusing on connection helps us reset and recharge.

Getting ready to write your New Year's resolutions?

The start of a new year marks a great time to refocus and set meaningful goals. As you think about what you want to accomplish this year, keep your words positive. While statements like 'lose weight' and 'limit social media' are great, it can be helpful to flip the script and focus on adding rather than taking away. For example, 'lose weight' could look more like 'walk 3-4 times per week' or swap 'limit social media' with 'read three books this year'. Whatever you're working towards, we encourage you to keep it positive and focus on adding value to your days.
