✨ What a weekend. ✨

Our 200-hour teacher trainees officially stepped into the seat of the teacher and taught their very first classes — and the studio was absolutely humming.

The rooms were full.
The energy was bright.
The community showed up in the most beautiful way.

So much support.
So much love.
So much celebration.

Watching these incredible humans share what they’ve been cultivating for months was deeply moving. They’ve studied, practiced, questioned, grown, and committed themselves to the path — and this weekend was their initiation into teaching.

To our trainees:
We are so proud of you.

Big congratulations.
Big hugs.
Big celebration for the courage it takes to step forward and guide others. 💛

If you’ve ever felt the quiet whisper that teaching might be part of your path… our 2027 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training dates are now open.

Head to our website, click 200 Hour, and start dreaming with us about joining the next circle of teachers. 🌿

A year ago around this time, I was in Morocco.

A retreat changes you in ways that are hard to explain until you’ve experienced it. It’s not just travel. It’s not just rest. It’s something in between — a little pilgrimage, a little vacation, a little soul reset.

You step away from the normal rhythm of life and suddenly there is space:
space for deeper conversations,
space for laughter,
space for unexpected friendships.

Some of the most meaningful relationships begin on retreat — people who were strangers a few days before and somehow feel like they’ve known you forever.

Sending love to all the incredible women who shared Morocco with me last year. What a magical journey that was. ✨

And cheers to all the retreats still waiting to happen — the ones that will surprise us, connect us, and remind us how powerful it is to step away together.

At Unity, retreat isn’t just a getaway. It’s a remembering.

A remembering of who we are when we slow down, when we gather, and when we give ourselves permission to experience the world — and each other — a little more deeply.

Here’s to the journeys behind us and the ones still calling us forward. 🌍💫

This weekend is one of the most special weekends of the year at the studio. ✨

Join us today and tomorrow for $5 classes with extended class times as we support and celebrate our newest batch of 200-hour teachers.

They’ve been working hard behind the scenes for months—studying, practicing, and growing—and we are so excited to begin sharing them with the community.

Come practice, cheer them on, and be part of this beautiful milestone.

Registration is open for all classes. We’d love to see you on the mat. 💛

✨ Sound Healing Weekend Immersion ✨
with Michael | May 2–3 | Chestnut Hill

Sound is more than something we hear — it’s something we feel.

The vibration of a bowl.
The resonance of a gong.
The subtle tones that guide the body into deeper rest.

Join us for a 10-hour immersive study weekend exploring the world of sound healing.

Together we’ll explore:

• how tones, vibration, and frequency affect the nervous system
• the foundations of music theory in sound healing
• how to play singing bowls, chimes, and gong
• ways to weave sound into yoga classes, personal practice, or sound baths

Whether you’re a yoga teacher, sound enthusiast, or simply curious about these beautiful instruments, this weekend offers space to learn, practice, and explore the magic of sound.

This training is part of our new Unity Study Weekends — immersive opportunities to deepen your practice and expand your skills.

A yoga class can be many things.

At Unity, it’s also a place where the nervous system gets a chance to reset.

Where breath slows.
Where the body gets to move without pressure.
Where community becomes part of the healing process.

It’s not about perfect poses.

It’s about learning how to listen.

To breath.
To sensation.
To what your body actually needs.

Movement, breath, and community — working together.

That’s the practice.

🌕✨ Full Moon Lunar Eclipse + Holi ✨🌈

Tonight we’re in the overlap of a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and Holi — the celebration of spring, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness.

Holi began today around 7:00 PM and carries through the night into the early morning hours.

Meanwhile, the lunar eclipse will be visible in the U.S. between roughly 3:00–6:30 AM (with the tail end around 6:30 AM on the East Coast).

In many ancient traditions, eclipses are considered energetically potent — sometimes mentally or emotionally stirring. Because of that, spiritual practice during an eclipse is said to be amplified.

So if you happen to be awake in those early hours:
✨ Chant mantra
✨ Meditate
✨ Practice yoga nidra
✨ Journal
✨ Offer prayers for collective healing

What’s so interesting is that in Vedic tradition, when astrology marks a difficult or intense day, celebration is often placed right there. Holi is color, joy, laughter, renewal — and this year, it lands on an eclipse.

Maybe that’s not a contradiction.
Maybe it’s an invitation.

An inward celebration.
A quieter joy.
A conscious offering.

With so much moving in the collective right now, any intention rooted in compassion, steadiness, and service ripples outward.

Whether you’re sleeping, celebrating, or sitting in stillness — may your heart stay clear and your light steady.

Happy Full Moon. Happy Holi. 🌕🌈

There are a lot of rooms asking you to push.

This isn’t one of them.

If you’re looking for yoga that supports your capacity —
not just your output —
if you care about deep exhales, sustainable strength, and walking out steadier than you walked in…

You’re not alone.

Some of us are building spaces around regulation, integrity, and resonance.

If that’s what you’ve been searching for,
we’re here.

There’s a difference between intensity and depth.

We’re interested in depth.

If you’ve ever needed a little more steadiness and a little less noise — you’re not alone.

This keeps it subtle.
It doesn’t say “sensitive.”
It doesn’t diagnose anyone.
It doesn’t oversell.

It just signals:

We see you.

Our Story

Unity Yoga was founded in Philadelphia in 2018. Founders, Arielle and Robert, found a home in Philadelphia through the love and connection of the local yoga community. Wanting to provide this type of connection to everyone – local and transplant alike – Arielle and Robert founded Unity Yoga with the understanding that yoga is for everyone from all walks of life, and that everyone should be able to discover the benefits of yoga and a loving community.

At Unity Yoga, we believe in the healing and transformative power of community and connection for all individuals. Unity Yoga envisions a world with no barriers to health and wellness, where all are welcome and celebrated for their diversity.

Unity Yoga is about more than just practicing vinyasa on your mat for 75 minutes a day – it is about truly connecting with yourself and with others.
