Tomorrow, our doors are open.

In solidarity with the collective small business strike, all regularly scheduled yoga classes tomorrow are FREE at Manayunk + Chestnut Hill.

We stand against the violence and atrocities happening locally, nationally, and globally.
And we also know this: we must be resourced to live to fight another day.

Activism happens on many fronts.
We honor and applaud those on the front lines.

And we are clear about our role.

Unity is a place for activists to come heal.
To rest nervous systems.
To recalibrate bodies and hearts.
To be held long enough to keep going.

Join us tomorrow for free yoga—movement, rest, breath, and grounding in community.

And tomorrow night, we begin Yule Weekend—a perfectly timed entering of the Dream Temple.
A space of deep rest.
Of being witnessed without performing.
Of nothing required of you.

This is the medicine right now.
This is the antidote.

Come join us in studio tomorrow.

When the world feels unbearably heavy—
when there’s injustice at every corner, on every scroll, in every update—
we ask ourselves: how do we stay whole?
How do we keep our hearts open without breaking? How are we held?

The truth is, in times like these, we don’t do it alone.
We return to our practices.
We gather.
We create refuge.
We build shelter—together.

This weekend, our beloved teacher and mentor Yoli Maya Yeh returns to guide us through the cycles and the seasons. A remembering. A re-grounding. A slowing down to what’s real.

This is a place to rest your bones.
A place to be witnessed, not perform.
A place to tend your nervous system and resource yourself for the year ahead.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, angry, tender, numb, or simply tired—this space is for you. If you’re longing for community that feels honest and steady—this space is for you.

✨ Single sessions, full-day, and full-weekend options available.

The last time Yoli was here, something softened. ✨
We slowed down, listened more deeply, and remembered what it feels like to be held by community. There was laughter, tears, truth-telling, and that quiet magic that happens when we gather with open hearts.

This weekend, Yoli joins us again for a walk through the cycles of the year, the cycles of life, and the very real cycle we find ourselves in right now. Not to fix or bypass—but to witness, to name, to tend.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, angry, hopeless, lonely…
If you’re tired of carrying it all alone…
If you’re craving refuge, shelter, and a place to land—

Come join us.
Come be held.
You don’t have to know what you need. Just bring yourself. 🤍

Happy Monday, everyone 🤍
After a weekend like this, it feels important to name what’s in the air.

The world feels heavy right now — senseless violence, grief, uncertainty, and this almost dreamlike, apocalyptic state we seem to drift in and out of. It’s a lot to hold. And while we’re snowed in and the external world feels dark, we keep coming back to yoga — its roots, its history, and its reminder that caring for ourselves is not an escape from the world, but a way of staying in right relationship with it.

Sometimes we do need to lock the world out for 60 minutes — to focus on our breath, our movement, and our own nervous systems — so that we can return more grounded, more authentic, and more compassionate. That kind of escape is pro-social. It’s how we sustain ourselves so we can continue to show up for our communities, especially for those most impacted.

If you’re feeling broken, shaken, or overwhelmed by what’s happening right now, please know you’re not alone. We’re here to hold space for that — in movement, in breath, and in community. Reach out for support if you need it. We’re here.

Held in community.
Nourished by practice.
Nurtured through the turning of the year.

This weekend, we gather with Yoli Maya Yeh to walk the seasons together—winter through fall—guided by movement, reflection, and the wisdom of the natural world. We’ll explore seasonal practices, insights from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, and embodied rituals that help us listen more deeply to our inner and outer nature.

This is a space to be held.
A space to soften, learn, remember, and reconnect.
A space to move in rhythm with the cycles that shape us.

Join us for the full weekend immersion or drop into individual sessions—come as you are, for whatever you need most right now.
We would truly love to see you.

We don’t live outside of nature.
We are nature.

And yet, so many of us have forgotten how to listen to her rhythms—
when to rest, when to begin, when to bloom, when to let go.

When we live out of sync with the seasons, the body feels it.
The nervous system feels it.
The spirit feels it.

✨ This is why Yoli Maya Yeh is coming to Unity.

For one full weekend, we’ll walk the seasons together—
not as theory, but as lived experience.

🌑 Friday night: Winter — rest, stillness, inward listening
🌱 Saturday morning: Spring — emergence, renewal, gentle growth
☀️ Saturday evening: Summer — fullness, expression, vitality
🍂 Sunday morning: Autumn — harvest, integration, release
🌕 Sunday evening: Full Moon Circle — to seal the cycle and complete the walk

We’ll explore:
• practices for each season
• how to harmonize inner and outer nature
• living cyclically (on and off the mat)
• nourishment, rhythm, and sustainable energy
• shaping a year of practice that actually fits your life

This is 100% beginner-friendly.
You don’t need prior knowledge.
You don’t need to “do it right.”

This is a space for curiosity.
For remembering.
For learning how to live more in tune with the natural world—one season at a time.

🌿 Come walk the wheel with us.

This weekend, the room filled with maps you can’t see.
Subtle body.
Velocity.
Attention learning how to move without force.

Slide by slide, practice by practice, something clarified itself—
we don’t practice to escape this life,
or to arrive somewhere shinier, higher, holier.

We practice to become capable of being here.
In sensation.
In breath.
In change.
In stillness that can hold movement.

This is the heart of our 300-hour.
Not accumulation, but refinement.
Not transcendence, but presence with capacity.

This is yoga at Unity.
Learning how to stay.

As we journey through the seasons with Yoli Maya Yeh, we arrive on Saturday afternoon in the fullness of summer.
This is a time of expansion, vitality, creativity, and the courage to be seen—while staying in relationship with balance, rhythm, and sustainability.

In this summer session, we’ll explore what it means to hold our energy wisely: how to express, create, and connect without burning out. We’ll work with fullness rather than excess, radiance rather than depletion, and joy that’s rooted and resourced.

This weekend is an invitation to step out of the everyday hubbub of life and into a more attuned relationship with your social, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves—through the wisdom of the seasons.

✨ Totally beginner-friendly
✨ No experience necessary
✨ All are welcome

✨ Why boundaries matter ✨

At Unity, the boundaries we’ve created aren’t about restriction.
They’re about care.

Clear agreements between students, teachers, and the space itself create a container where nervous systems can soften, settle, and feel safe enough to open. When expectations are shared and honored, the body doesn’t have to stay on guard. Presence becomes possible.

These agreements are a living expression of yoga philosophy—of relationship, responsibility, and respect. A quiet practice of ahimsa, satya, and svadhyaya in real time. Not theory. Lived experience.

The container holds us so the practice can do its work.
The edges allow the center to deepen.

Step inside.
Feel the difference.

Saturday Morning · January 31
Spring with Yoli Maya Yeh 🌱

Spring is such a delicious season—the quiet thrill of beginnings, the soft courage of emerging, the subtle signs that something new is already underway.

In this Saturday morning practice with Yoli, we gather to celebrate Spring through a gentle, spacious blend of:
• cyclical teachings
• ritual and devotional practice
• guided movement
• reflection and rest
• community practice

We’ll explore curiosity and movement, attuning to renewal, fresh starts, and the tender energy of new growth—both in nature and within ourselves. Nothing forced. Nothing rushed. Just listening for what wants to rise.

No prior experience needed. Come as you are.
Let this be a morning of remembering how to begin again.

Our Story

Unity Yoga was founded in Philadelphia in 2018. Founders, Arielle and Robert, found a home in Philadelphia through the love and connection of the local yoga community. Wanting to provide this type of connection to everyone – local and transplant alike – Arielle and Robert founded Unity Yoga with the understanding that yoga is for everyone from all walks of life, and that everyone should be able to discover the benefits of yoga and a loving community.

At Unity Yoga, we believe in the healing and transformative power of community and connection for all individuals. Unity Yoga envisions a world with no barriers to health and wellness, where all are welcome and celebrated for their diversity.

Unity Yoga is about more than just practicing vinyasa on your mat for 75 minutes a day – it is about truly connecting with yourself and with others.
