Intern Spotlight ๐ก
My name is Sebastian May, and I completed my DPD program at University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana, where I am also currently completing my Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management. ๐
During college, I have been actively involved in nutrition-focused volunteer work including creating educational material for the local WIC program, leading childrenโs nutrition workshops, and assisting with meal service and engagement activities in community organizations. ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ
Professionally, I have worked as a Laboratory Analyst at Mead Jhonson Nutrition (Enfamil) for over two years, where I supported nutrient testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement projects, giving me a deeper understanding of food science and product safety. ๐ฌ
Outside of academic and professional responsibilities, I enjoy playing soccer on the weekends, going to the gym, taking long walks, learning languages, and traveling to new places. โฝ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ I also have a deep interest in digestive health from personal experience, which motivated me to learn how evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle practices can support gut function and overall well-being.
