🌟 A Meaningful Community Outreach Experience 🌟

We’re excited to share the amazing volunteer experience of Karina Aguirre at Denton Freedom House Pantry!

Karina had the opportunity to assist customers with their food selections, making sure they felt supported and informed. She went the extra mile by creating bilingual handouts and bringing coloring sheets, crayons, and stickers to keep kids engaged and happy. She also helped stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized pantry. Karina described the experience as “incredibly rewarding,” and we couldn’t agree more!

Intern Spotlight💡

My name is Jordan Schulz, and I am very excited to be a Dietetic Intern through Aramark! 💯

I graduated in May from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics through Texas Tech as well. 🎓

I gained valuable experience working as a Sports Nutrition Intern for the Texas Tech Football team, where I prepared customized protein shakes, managed inventory, and supported athletes during game-day operations.

In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, playing pickleball, and grabbing a good latte! 🏋️‍♂️🏓☕

Intern Spotlight💡

My name is Kenady Smith. I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics in 2024 and Master of Science in Business in 2025🎓.

Throughout my time at Texas A&M, I had the following amazing opportunities:
✅ Work in Sports Performance Nutrition with Texas A&M Athletics and serve as a Head Attendant in Strength & Conditioning at the Rec Center
✅ I have volunteered in the Exercise & Sport Nutrition lab on campus, Operation Border Health Preparedness, and WIC
✅ Additionally, I served on the Marketing Committee for the Nutrition and Dietetic Career Workshop and Fair (NDCW) at Texas A&M
✅ Worked as a Food Analyst Intern for a nutrition startup platform
✅ Served as the Head Social Media Marketing Intern for multiple dietetic private practices

Outside of academics and work, I love staying active—whether that’s through weightlifting, long walks, or anything that gets me moving. I also enjoy listening to health and wellness podcasts, and spending quality time with my family and friends!

Intern Spotlight💡

My name is Marissa Sheets, and I completed my undergrad in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech University. I graduated in May of 2025 with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. I’m currently pursuing my graduate degree through Texas Tech as well and plan on graduating in August of 2026🎓.

During undergrad, I was able to participate in numerous nutrition-related volunteer experiences. I was a member of the Student Nutrition Organization and in my last semester, my class also went to the Boys and Girls Club where we taught weekly nutrition education. Whether it was in medical nutrition therapy classes or volunteering in the community, I gained hands-on knowledge in both the food service and clinical side of dietetics through Texas Tech.

I’m more than excited to apply my knowledge through my dietetic internship and learn more every day!

Outside of the classroom, I love workout classes, going on walks, hiking, swimming, farmers markets, traveling, and trying new foods and coffee spots. My family and friends are my support system, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them.

Come to Work with Me: Dietetics Edition 🏥

Ben Rameriz was eager to show and educate the nurses on each floor about the new tube feeding modulars his facility started providing.

✅Prosource offers 20 grams of protein, and
✅Banatrol offers 5 grams of fiber per packet

Theses tube feeding modulars allow the patients to receive the nutrition they need in a quick and efficient manner!

Hi everyone! My name is Gabrielle Gilly, and I’m THRILLED to be an Aramark Dietetic Intern!

I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in May with my B.S. in Nutrition🎓 and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree at TWU as well. I bring a strong background in healthcare, having worked in pharmacy for six years, and I’ve been an active leader during my undergraduate years working as a resident assistant, Vice President of the TWU Food & Nutrition Network and a proud member of the KEM Club.

Outside of nutrition, I love reading, spending time with loved ones, and cooking or baking anything I can dream up. I’m so excited to continue growing as a nutrition professional and to make a positive impact through this internship experience!
