Testimonial Tuesday 💬 | Coach Susan
There’s a difference between working out… and truly understanding your body.
Coach Susan has a way of helping you slow down, tune in, and actually learn what your body needs—so you can feel stronger, more energized, and more in control of your health.
“I can’t recommend Susan Brown enough, or to enough people. As a Nurse Practitioner trained in Functional Medicine myself, I am wowed by the depth of Susan’s knowledge. Like most practitioners, she got to this place through the alarming and too common personal experience of not having her and her family’s health needs met by conventional medical people. I’ve attended workshops and cook-a-longs with Susan and also have the great fortune to be able to “talk shop” about Functional Medicine with her informally. While I have a similar training, I found myself learning new things and being happily reminded about and re-inspired by information she shared in her workshops. It makes me want to shout from the rooftops all over again. All health care should be approached this way. It’s become clear to me that, even with a Functional Medicine provider, which I do go to, it is the nutritionists who get into the day-to-day details. Additionally, Susan is really clear and organized in her thinking and is an exceptional teacher.
Do not be fooled. This is different from typical nutritionist services. Susan goes way deeper, and is able to order specialized tests that give her foundational information to make personalized recommendations.
Susan is an ideal person to work with alongside either an Integrative or Functional Medicine provider, or even a conventional one though they will likely not have much understanding of what she’s recommending. If you really want to take your health into your own hands, I highly recommend working with Susan Brown. It’ll be a LOT of new information for folks who are new to Functional Nutrition/Medicine, but I can attest to the quality of her research-based information, and as long as YOU are willing to do what needs to be done to feel better, it’ll be WELL worth your while to work with her.”
