Our forest theatre is a beacon of connection — pulsing like a heartbeat after dark.
Warm wood, soft light, and a community gathering through music, open jams, and spontaneous magic.

Tonight, the glow gets even brighter with Ritmo de Amor — an evening of live Latin music, dancing, and shared joy.
Step inside the rhythm with us.

At SoHA, our altar spaces are living gateways — places where gratitude, intention, and beauty gather.

As the seasons shift, our altars shift with them.
What’s sitting on yours right now?
What are you grateful for in this moment?
We’d love to hear — your reflections help weave this community together.

This is our altar today, tended with love and the gifts of the forest. 🌿🕯️

Madhurai Sumhara is a kirtan musician based in Mount Shasta, CA.
Kirtan is an ancient, participatory form of devotional chanting and call-and-response singing, rooted in the Indian yoga tradition, that uses music, mantras, and shared voices to foster community, connect with the divine, and induce states of joy, peace, and spiritual elevation. Participants, regardless of musical or spiritual background, sing together, creating a collective energy and a profound, healing, and transformative experience.
Madhurai understands that the frequency of joy is medicine for this world, and thus she brings kirtan in a way that is both deeply sincere, as well as very lively and fun to dance to. Believing deeply in the power of these mantras to radically heal and transform people, Madhurai is enthusiastic to help these mantras spread to those who will benefit from hearing and chanting them.
With her partner William Morgan playing drums, as well special guest artist David Campbell on trumpet, Madhurai and her band are able to bring a bright and inspiring energy to the kirtan. Their intention in sharing kirtan is to bring a taste of that bhav (divine mood) and shakti (creative power) as people sing and dance themselves into bliss!
