Decision fatigue is real and if you’re a business owner (and a mom 👀) you already know by the time you get to yourself at the end of the day there’s nothing left.

Might chalk it up to a willpower problem but it’s just what happens when you’re running everything…

For me I stopped leaving my health and pain up to motivation and as a “when I have time” a long time ago. These 5 things don’t require me to feel ready or have “extra bandwidth” or be able to “commit or operate at 100%”

They’re just decided. Non negotiable. Off the table for debate.

I’m not trying to just survive my schedule. I’m trying to actually show up at the level I know I’m capable of. And you can’t do that running on empty.

And I still catch myself in moments like this thinking I can’t believe there was a time I walked this earth without you, Jonny…

I’m so glad I found you when I did. Because I wasn’t ready before then. I hadn’t done enough of the work yet to receive what you were going to give me. To receive the kind of love that doesn’t clip your wings but builds them.

Gosh what a blessing it is to have you (thank you God.)

You’re not just my partner. You’re my safe place. The reason I get to be ambitious without apology. Soft without losing my strength. The reason I can build something without shrinking to make anyone else comfortable.

You don’t only complete me. You mirror me. You challenge me. You encourage me. You hold me accountable. You hold space for the version of me that’s still becoming and you never once make me feel like I am too much.

That’s all surface level and it’s still worth having, but let’s talk about what nobody else is talking about…

The fittest women in the room are also usually the most successful ones. The most magnetic ones. The ones who close deals, have radiating confidence, achieve higher salary, walk into a room and own it before they say a word.

That’s not a coincidence! When you are fully at home and in alignment in your body and it reflects the standard you hold everything else in your life to something shifts in how you carry yourself 👌

People trust you more. They listen to you. You show up to every room like you belong in it because you’ve already proven to yourself that you do hard things and you WIN.

The radiance is real. The confidence is real.

The way it bleeds into your income, your marriage, your relationship with kids is also real.

2 years ago I went through one of the worst hip flare-ups I’ve had in a long time.

Couldn’t lift. Couldn’t run. No lower body. No weighted movements. Leakage started creeping back in. Core was weak af. Weight started going up. Felt inflamed and honestly sad.

Everything I thought I had built felt like it disappeared.

So I did the exact opposite of what most people do. I took a step back (was forced to honestly) and evaluated my foundation and got really honest about my limitations.

And then I went all in on the small, boring things… breathing, core, single leg control, mind to muscle connection and stability.

Blew my ego as an athlete not gonna lie but from there I built back up slowly and intentionally. Progressively overloading the right way.

This is the part people skip.

And this is also why they stay stuck in pain, carrying extra weight, and struggle to see and feel their hard earned muscle.

The “basics” aren’t basic. They’re the reason everything else works.
