This month’s community highlight is the one and only Luke!
A recent graduate of our 2025 Razz Teacher Training cohort, Luke has truly stepped into his role as a teacher and continues to thrive here at the studio.
Biggest takeaway from training: “Learning about the philosophy, definition, and full practice of yoga—not just asana. I gained so much insight into consciousness, unity, and the Eight Limbs of yoga, and how to integrate them into everyday life.”
What inspired you to become a teacher? “Karma yoga. I want to help others by sharing spiritual knowledge and creating a space where people can grow, ground themselves, center their energy, and turn inward.”
Most valuable thing you learned during training: “That I actually did want to teach. Once I let go of the judgments I had before teacher training, I realized I had been telling myself I shouldn’t or didn’t want to teach—when in reality, I truly did.”
Favorite pose: Malasana. “It feels incredibly opening while also strong, grounding, and strengthening.”
Favorite thing about teaching: “Helping people feel better when they leave than when they arrived—and guiding Savasana.”
What can students expect in your class? “A steady pace with consistent intensity and energy. A practice that helps you settle in, quiet the mind, and drop into the experience—no matter how you felt when you walked in.”
When can you practice with Luke?
Thursdays at 6:30 AM
Fun fact: “When I’m working with my real estate clients, I often try to share yogic principles to help them navigate the stress of buying and selling homes. Sometimes it works… sometimes it doesn’t 😂”
Bonus: “Some of the best yoga classes for me are the ones I can ride my motorcycle to.”
