Join us for a 90-minute restorative yoga session designed to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind and invite deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Each pose will be complemented by the soothing warmth of heated stones gently placed on the body—an indulgent touch that enhances your sense of grounding and ease.

✨ Space is limited to just 15 participants to ensure a truly personalized and relaxing experience.

This gentle practice is suitable for all levels—no prior yoga experience needed. Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early, and bring a sweater or extra layers along with cozy socks for added comfort.

Over time, stress and tension can quietly accumulate in the body and mind, leaving us feeling drained, disconnected and overwhelmed. This deeply restorative workshop offers a space to gently release that buildup and reconnect with your inner calm.

We’ll begin with grounding Yin Yoga—long-held, supported poses designed to open the fascia, release stored tension and quiet the nervous system. Breathwork and soothing hands-on assists will support you in softening even more deeply.

From there, we’ll transition into Yoga Nidra, a meditative “yogic sleep” that invites deep rest and inner stillness. This guided practice helps dissolve stagnant energy and shift old mental patterns, leaving you refreshed in both body and spirit.

✨ The space will be energetically prepared with Reiki, enhancing the atmosphere for deep healing, relaxation and connection.

✨ This month we’re proud to feature Sara Johnson, a dedicated and thoughtful member of the Razz Yoga community. ✨

Sara began practicing yoga at Razz during her pregnancy, drawn to the studio’s welcoming energy, beginner-friendly classes and supportive instructors. What she found was more than just a place to practice—it was a space where she felt seen, safe, and empowered.

“I used to avoid flow classes out of fear I couldn’t keep up. Now, I feel strong, capable, and excited to grow.”

Over time, yoga has helped Sara cultivate a growth mindset that extends far beyond the mat. She feels more mindful, less reactive and more grateful in everyday life.

Her favorite classes include:
🌟 Hatha with Missy, which encourages strength and confidence.
🌟 Midweek flows with Peat, who blends humor, props, and yoga philosophy.
🌟 Sundays with Nilvis, which feel like a “warm hug” to close the week.

Sara’s favorite poses include pigeon and firelog, where she finds deep release and meditation. She loves how Razz supports her journey with compassion and authenticity.

“Razz isn’t a gym—it’s a loving community. I felt like I belonged, even when I wasn’t sure I deserved it.”

Outside of yoga, Sara volunteers with the JES PTA, runs with Athletes Serving Athletes, and enjoys baking sourdough, gardening and attending wellness retreats.

We’re so grateful to have Sara as part of our community—her journey is a beautiful reminder of the power of presence, growth and connection. 💛

🧘‍♀️ Seated Forward Fold (Paschimottanasana) 🧘‍♀️

This soothing, inward-focused posture invites calm, reflection and release. As you gently fold forward and reach toward your feet, the goal isn’t to touch your toes — it’s to let go of tension, both physically and mentally.

Paschimottanasana helps lengthen the spine, stretch the hamstrings and lower back and stimulate the digestive system. Beyond the physical, it’s a powerful posture for reducing stress and anxiety by encouraging the nervous system to slow down.

Instead of pushing or striving, surrender to the moment. This pose reminds us that insight and clarity often come not from doing more, but from softening into stillness.
