🌞 Last Call: Sun Salutations Asana Lab 🌞

There’s still time to step onto your mat and explore the heart of yoga’s most beloved sequence. Join Sarah for a hands-on breakdown of Surya Namaskar, where we’ll move with intention, connect breath to movement, and refine each transition with clarity and ease.

We’ll explore:
✨ Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute)
✨ Plank Pose
✨ Chaturanga Dandasana
✨ Backbends
✨ Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

Whether you’re brand new to Sun Salutations or ready to deepen your understanding, this workshop offers mindful movement, supportive guidance, and space to ask questions.

All levels welcome. Bring your mat, your breath, and an open mind.

Spots are limited—join us!

"Learning from others reminds us that we all have a story."

Through her classes, she creates space for connection, growth, and showing up exactly as you are. Her approach weaves thoughtful sequencing with real-time awareness—so what begins as movement often becomes something deeper: a softened breath, a lingering insight, a moment you didn’t expect.

She builds each class around a peak pose or theme, layering it week by week—never teaching the exact same class twice. Her longtime favorite posture, Pincha Mayurasana, reflects her philosophy: it’s less about achieving the pose and more about trust, patience, playfulness, and the willingness to wobble and try again.

Jenny’s favorite part of teaching? Connection—and the art of weaving a sequence that truly resonates.

Join her for Sunrise Warm Vinyasa on Tuesdays at 6:30am 🌅🧘‍♀️

✨Yoga wisdom for modern living.✨

This means carrying the heart of the practice beyond the mat and into everyday life. It invites us to use breath, awareness, and self-reflection as tools for meeting stress, relationships, and uncertainty with more clarity and care.

At its core, this wisdom is rooted in ahimsa—it’s about noticing where we may be harsh with ourselves, reactive toward others, or caught in patterns that create subtle harm through burnout, judgment, or disconnection.

Practicing yoga wisdom through the lens of ahimsa means cultivating compassion over reactivity, curiosity over judgment, and patience over force. It reminds us that we don’t need to push, fix, or fight our way through life. Instead, we can move through the world with greater kindness—toward our bodies, our minds, and the people around us. This is yoga as a lived practice: intentional, ethical, and deeply relevant to how we show up in modern life.

When someone’s words, actions, or beliefs hit a nerve, pause before reacting.
Try asking yourself:
✨ Where have I felt this before?
✨ What might they be protecting or afraid of?

Understanding doesn’t mean agreeing—it means choosing awareness, compassion, and less harm.

For the month of February, we wanted to highlight one of our favorite classes, Restorative Yoga ✨

Restorative yoga is the perfect way to close out your day—or your week—because it invites the body to truly reset and relax. With the support of props and long-held, gentle postures, the nervous system is guided into a state of deep calm, allowing tension to melt away and the mind to soften.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, run-down, or simply craving stillness, restorative yoga creates space for deep rest, better sleep, and a renewed sense of balance. Join Nilvis every Sunday at 5pm if you would liek to experience the restorative effects yourself. 💫
