Whoopies - Caps with a Cause

Whoopies - Caps with a Cause Artists & Philanthropists, ileyna & Flori Witenstein In the summer of 2008, we caught a bad cough. Our coughing fits lasted for almost 3 months!

The cough was so bad that the doctor tested us for Whooping Cough, Pertussis. Days went by, and we felt pretty good, except for when we coughed, we coughed really badly. Because Whooping Cough is very contagious, home is where we had to stay for 5 days while we took our antibiotics. Our bottle cap crafts soon evolved into what we call WHOOPIES, decorative bottle cap creations that we hope will remind all kids to stay healthy and keep up on their vaccines. We donate a portion of the proceeds to local organizations that help kids stay healthy, including: Desert Mission Health Center, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and The Arizona Partnership for Immunizations (TAPI). www.whyimmunize.org
