Letts and Diffendall in our brand new comfortable office located in the heart of horse country in beautiful Jacksonville, MD. We are so thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful community and look forward to having the opportunity to work with you and your family. Our goal is to treat you the way we would want to be treated and to build a lifelong relationship. We are committed to greeting you with a smile, offering timely service as well as giving you superior care. We offer comprehensive eye examinations including glaucoma testing and dilated retinal evaluations. We are so fortunate to be able to offer corneal topography, retinal and anterior segment photography. We love fitting contacts and the tougher, the better! We are some of the few with experience fitting soft contacts, rigid gas permeables, Synergeyes, bifocals and Corneal Refractive Therapy. We also offer stylish, current eyewear for all the members of your family and will help you select the frame that was meant just for you! Most importantly, we want you to leave our office knowing that you were cared for from the moment you entered our door. We are honored that our patients have chosen us and allow us to experience the joys and sorrows of their lives and we treat that relationship with the highest of respect.

Running a small business is not for the faint of heart. Without the help of our amazing staff, every responsibility falls to us. We manage billing, create schedules, maintain our space, troubleshoot technology, order supplies, stay current in our field--all while striving to provide the highest level of care and compassion to our patients. Many times, the weight of these responsibilities can feel overwhelming.

After long days, it is natural to question the path we have chosen. However there are moments that bring clarity and serves as a powerful reminder of why we do this work. And we are reminded of our 19 year old selves wanting to help people and make the world a better place. In those moments, the challenges briefly fade, and we reconnect with the purpose that first inspired us.

Yesterday was one of those moments. A patient came in and told us that Dr. Diffendall saved her son's life years ago~all from the findings of his eye exam. We were left speechless and filled with gratitude. Thank you for coming in and helping us to remember what truly matters.
