Choosing the right water temperature can make a real difference in how your body responds to pain:

🔥 Hot showers increase blood flow, relax tight muscles, and ease joint stiffness - especially helpful for chronic conditions like arthritis or tension-related pain.
❄️ Cold showers constrict blood vessels, reduce swelling, and numb sharp or acute pain - often used after activity or injury to control inflammation.

The best choice depends on the type and timing of your pain. For some, alternating hot and cold may provide added relief. Always consult with your provider to see what’s safest for your condition.

At US Pain Care, we work with patients to personalize strategies like these - because effective pain management is never one-size-fits-all.

Some days, chronic pain makes even the simplest movements feel like a battle. That’s where physical therapy comes in - it’s not just exercise, it’s the work of rebuilding strength, confidence, and daily life. 💪

This National Physical Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the therapists who walk beside patients through that fight.

At US Pain Care, we don’t just refer patients to PT - we work directly with physical therapists to shape care around your goals, your needs, and your healing. Because getting better isn’t only about managing pain - it’s about getting back to living.

PART 1

US Pain Care partnered with Dr. Janne Lynch, DDS - the amazing wife of our CEO, Dr. Paul Lynch, and the CEO of AZ Dentist - to share an important message for patients and families affected by opioid use disorder.

Suboxone saves lives. It’s one of the most powerful tools in the fight against opioid overdose and addiction. But too many patients are unaware that Suboxone can also have dental side effects—leading to tooth decay, cavities, or gum problems if the right steps aren’t taken.

Dr. Lynch shared simple, practical ways patients can protect their teeth and smiles:
• Talking openly with their dentist about Suboxone use
• Using preventive strategies like rinsing after doses and not brushing for one hour after taking Suboxone
• Practicing consistent at-home oral care with techniques to increase pH of the mouth after Suboxone use, while increasing hydration and saliva production

With the right education and teamwork between patients, physicians, and dentists, these side effects can be prevented. No one should have to choose between saving their life and saving their smile.

🦷💙 Saving lives and saving smiles—that’s the goal.

Spine pain can feel overwhelming - but it doesn’t have to define your life.

At US Pain Care, we take a thoughtful, step-by-step approach: starting with conservative care, moving to minimally invasive treatments if needed, and only considering surgery when it’s truly the best option.

From physical therapy and targeted injections to advanced procedures like spinal cord stimulation, our goal is the same - safe, effective, and personalized relief that helps patients get back to living.

This World Spine Day, let’s raise awareness for the backbone of our health. Explore how we’re helping people reclaim their lives at www.uspain.com

We are sharing Part 2 of the video we posted earlier this week - about a man named Zombie who is living on the streets. In this video, he opens up not just about his current struggle, but how he got there.

Homelessness affects up to 7% of Americans at some point in their life, and chronic pain is often both a cause and a consequence.

Pain and homelessness are deeply connected.
📊 Nearly 1 in 2 homeless individuals lives with untreated chronic pain.
📊 Among the 20 million Americans with high-impact pain, up to 1 in 5 face housing instability.

Sometimes pain leads to homelessness. Sometimes homelessness causes pain. Too often, it’s both.

At US Pain Care, we say: “Treat ’em when we meet ’em.” With urgency, compassion, and zero judgment. Maybe we should also say: “Treat ’em where we meet ’em.”

We’re grateful to for giving Zombie a voice. His story deserves to be heard.

Please watch, share, and join the conversation. Learn more at www.uspain.com

We’re honored to share that Dr. Paul Lynch, Founder of US Pain Care, will be speaking at the 31st Becker’s Fall ASC Conference today at the Swissôtel in Chicago.

Dr. Lynch will be addressing one of the most pressing challenges Ambulatory Surgery Centers face today:

“The most significant headwind for ASCs in the coming year is the growing mismatch between operating costs and reimbursement. While operating costs, including labor, technology, and supplies, have all continued to rise, payer reimbursement has remained stagnant and in some cases actually decreased. This imbalance has challenged the long-term stability of ASCs and limited their ability to invest in innovation. It is necessary for ASCs to learn to control costs while also maximizing reimbursement in order to remain successful and sustainable.”

At US Pain Care, we believe in equipping physicians and healthcare leaders with strategies that not only control costs but also prioritize innovation, patient outcomes, and long-term sustainability.

Chronic pain doesn’t stop when the day ends. It follows you into the night, into your thoughts, into the moments when you wish you could just be yourself again. That constant weight doesn’t just hurt your body - it can break down your mental strength over time.

On World Mental Health Day, we’re shining a light on the truth many live with but rarely talk about: pain and mental health are deeply connected. And the only way forward is care that sees all of you.

At U.S. Pain Care, we’re building that kind of care - because no one should have to choose between treating their pain or protecting their mental health. Healing has to mean both.

We Were Recently Interviewed on The Morning Show.

This was not an easy conversation to have - it strikes very close to home. But we believe it’s one worth sharing, because it could save a life.

At U.S. Pain Care, our mission is clear: Treat ’em when you meet ’em. Together, we can save 1 million lives by treating patients with opioid use disorder the very day we meet them.

This approach works in Emergency Rooms, primary care clinics, and yes - even in pain clinics. To be clear, the vast majority of pain patients are not addicted to opioids. But when someone does develop an addiction, too often they are dismissed or turned away by the very clinics they trusted. These are the patients who need us most.

Every day, patients with opioid use disorder reach out to clinics asking for help. It’s time to stand with the most vulnerable among us - including those struggling with addiction.

If you’d like a copy of our presentation on Suboxone microinductions and how this evidence-based approach can save lives, email us at LynchMD@gmail.com. We’ll gladly share the presentation and protocols.

🙏 We invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can transform pain care and save lives.

We want to share a story that deeply moved us - featuring a man named Zombie who is living on the streets. We don’t know him, but his words have stayed with us for years.

This is not our story - but it says something urgent about our world, and our healthcare system.

🔁 Pain and homelessness are deeply connected.
• Chronic pain can push people into homelessness when work or care becomes impossible.
• Homelessness, in turn, creates pain - sleeping outside, untreated illness, daily suffering.

📊 The numbers are staggering:
• Up to 50% of unhoused people live with untreated chronic pain.
• Among 20 million Americans with high-impact pain, up to 1 in 5 face housing instability.

Pain often leads to addiction, but the reverse is also true - life on the streets magnifies trauma, despair, and unrelenting pain. If we want better care, we must include the most vulnerable.

At US Pain Care, our philosophy is simple: “Treat ’em when you meet ’em.” No stigma. No delay. Every patient deserves compassion - no matter where they sleep.

Thank you to on YouTube for sharing Zombie’s story. If you watch anything today, let it be this.
