Knee pain is rarely just "one thing." It’s usually a combination of factors that requires a comprehensive plan. 🦵

Here is how we approach the knee at US Pain Care:

1. The Causes: Whether it’s osteoarthritis, a sports injury, or simple wear and tear, identifying the root cause is step one. We don't just treat the ache; we look at the mechanics.
2. The Relief: Immediate relief matters. We focus on reducing inflammation and calming the nerves so you can get back to your day.
3. The Management: This is the long game. Through targeted strengthening and mobility protocols, we help you build a knee that can handle life’s demands.

Don't let knee pain dictate your movement. Let’s build a plan to manage it together.

Understanding Joint Injections for Pain Relief

Joint injections are a proven, evidence-based treatment for reducing inflammation and improving mobility. In the U.S., over 30 million adults live with osteoarthritis, and research shows that image-guided joint injections can reduce pain by up to 70% while helping many patients delay or avoid surgery.

A pain management physician can identify the root cause of pain, choose the right type of injection, and ensure safe, effective treatment. When paired with physical therapy and proper monitoring, joint injections can significantly improve function and quality of life.

What is Arthritis Pain?

Arthritis pain goes far beyond joint discomfort. It affects over 50 million Americans, causing chronic inflammation, stiffness, and damage that can limit mobility and quality of life at any age. When not properly managed, arthritis can lead to permanent joint damage, disability, and costly interventions that could have been prevented.

Cold weather and seasonal changes can also worsen arthritis symptoms.
Research shows that drops in temperature, reduced barometric pressure, and increased joint fluid thickness during winter can trigger more intense flare-ups - leading to heightened stiffness, swelling, and pain.

At US Pain Care, we provide evidence-based, patient-first solutions designed to reduce inflammation, protect joint health, and help patients avoid unnecessary surgeries or long-term opioid use. Together, we can deliver smarter pain care that improves lives and lowers costs.

Does this cycle feel familiar? When the body experiences pain, it naturally reacts with a "guarding" response. While this is meant to protect you, prolonged guarding leads to muscle spasms, restricted mobility, and ultimately, a loss of normal function. This physical deterioration often fuels a secondary cycle of emotional distress.

At US Pain Care, we specialize in interrupting this cycle at crucial physiological points addressing inflammation, restoring mobility, and preventing muscle weakness. Effective pain management is about restoring function, not just masking discomfort.

We’re beyond proud to celebrate our CEO, Dr. Paul Lynch , for being recognized as one of this year’s USGLC Tribute Award recipients - honoring leaders whose small businesses help strengthen America’s global leadership.

For years, we’ve watched Dr. Lynch serve on the Arizona Advisory Board for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, championing smarter healthcare policy and showing how small businesses can drive real impact locally and globally.

This week, he’s in Washington, D.C. accepting a national Tribute Award on behalf of US Pain Care, AZ Dentist, and Arizona’s small business community.

Our mission has always been clear: save one million lives through a better approach to chronic pain, mental health, and opioid use disorder.
We do it through the Four P’s we live by every day:
1. Patients — our North Star.
2. Physicians — giving doctors the tools to treat ’em when you meet ’em.
3. Payers — building models that reward better outcomes.
4. Policymakers — where lasting change begins.

This week, Dr. Lynch is advancing that fourth P - meeting with leaders on both sides of the aisle to push national adoption of treat ’em when you meet ’em and to drive policies that save lives, strengthen communities, and support the physicians doing this work every day.

If you’re in pain medicine, addiction care, behavioral health, or health policy and want to be part of what we’re building, we’d love to connect. Your voice matters.
