He had a heart attack, a stroke, and kidney failure - all from a he**in overdose - Part 2.
That day, Dr. Paul’s younger brother, Danny, nearly lost his life. He bled out during emergency surgery, and the doctors weren’t sure he would survive. Dr. Paul will never forget the moment he got that call - he was a surgical intern in New York City, and his brother was fighting for his life.
But today, Danny is here. Not just alive, but thriving. He’s taken the gift of survival and transformed it into purpose. He speaks openly about the power of treating addiction and mental health, showing how compassion and evidence-based care can change everything.
