Some ideas for honoring those who pass...
There are many things you can do Ceremony/Ritual wise before & After that will include her energy.
☆COOK/BAKE - Cook/Bake their favorite foods. Our senses are our strongest triggers & links to our emotions & Energies.
☆WRITE LETTERS - By writing a letter, your emotions, energies, intentions, wishes & more get transferred onto paper. You can then burn them out of doors in fireplace or heatproof dish. Smoke carries your messages to heaven.
☆CREATE A SACRED REMEMBRANCE SPACE- Place a framed image of the person, some personal items, a candle (Led lights if children present), for 7 days where anyone can go to just be, talk, share, express, grieve. Once the days are finished, Cleanse the space & remove the items.
☆ BURN SWEETGRASS BRAID - In Remembrance of our Ancestors & Loved ones who have passed, Folklore & some Cultures burn Sweetgrass Braids. Sweetgrass also invites good, pure, calming energies into the home.
☆CREATE A PIECE OF ART - This helps with self expression & release of emotions, Grief.
☆ SOUND THERAPY- Outside in nature or at home. Blast their favorite music, Sing & dance to celebrate her life!
You can also use singing bowls or bells. The higher frequency vibrations assist in clearing & cleansing.
☆LIGHTING A CANDLE- at a certain time everyday for seven days or during celebration times like their birthday or death day... holiday times...
☆ WRITING MESSAGES - on recyclable luggage tags & tying to a tree.

☆ REMEMBRANCE/FIRE CIRCLE - A gathering, small intimate circle, in a neutral place outside. A bonfire or camp fire. Their favorite snacks/food. A stick is given to first person & only the person with the stick can talk & share their feelings. You then each take a turn.
☆ A TRIP OUT - To their favorite place, ice cream shop, book store, picnic area...
☆ WATER - Write messages on stones or talk to the stones & throw into the sea/river. Letting the water carry messages to her. Or for kids write them on paper and then fold into sailboats
