💦If you’re not challenging yourself with a cold
shower, you need to start! 💦 there’s a reason it’s been trending for years.
🛀Take your normal shower and before you turn the water off, turn it cold for 30 seconds and see how long you can last. Slowly increase as your tolerance increases! You’ll be craving it before you know it 😉
1. 🥶The shock of cold water boosts oxygen intake, heart rate, blood flow…thus giving you more energy. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system over time which trains your body to handle stress better. Let’s teach our kids the same by showing them balance, no restrictions, and talking more about how certain foods make us feel than worrying about how many calories or grams of fat are in a serving.
Also let’s be real….an easy meal that everyone will eat is a mom win, yes?! 👏🏻

As a college student, I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do with my career. All I knew was that I was going to college and I’d figure it out eventually. After some trials and tribulations of my own, related to my weight, I was guided into the nutrition world and got my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nutrition from West Chester University.
Becoming a Registered Dietitian was even harder than I imagined; but I wanted it badly enough, so I went for it no matter how long it was going to take. I worked about 5 years in various nursing homes, and while I appreciate everything I learned, I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to do forever.
Fast forward to now and here I am starting my own company! PrimeLife Nutrition specializes in taking the guesswork out of finding a healthy balance of food choices and physical activity to fit your lifestyle. With nutrition and fitness, there’s no black and white that fits everyone; which is why one-on-one counseling is so beneficial!
