đź’ˇ Hearing Tip of the Week

A simple trick: when talking with someone in a restaurant or busy place, try sitting with your back to the wall. This helps reduce noise coming from behind you and makes conversations easier.

đź‘‚ Did you know?

Hearing loss often happens gradually, which means many people don’t realize it’s happening until conversations become difficult.

Early hearing screenings can help you stay connected to the people and activities you love. If it’s been a while since your last check, it might be time!

Linda or Ambyr are always happy to help answer questions about hearing health.

❓ “Do I really need hearing aids in BOTH ears?”

Short answer: usually, yes.

Hearing is a brain process, not just an ear issue. Two hearing aids help with balance, clarity, and understanding speech—especially in noise.

We always evaluate what’s best for you, but there’s science behind two!

🔋 Tech Tip: Battery Drain Surprise?

Streaming (calls, music, GPS) uses more battery than everyday listening.

If your aids seem to “die early,” check how often you’re streaming—it’s not a defect, it’s power use. Same as your phone. The more you are on long phone calls and streaming your favorite audiobooks - the more quickly that battery drains.

The more you know!
