Yes, even dentists need root canals! I had to have a root canal done on one of my lower back molars this past Tuesday due to external resorption. Kudos to Dr Louis Susi at Columbus Endodontic Associates for a fantastic job! Their new office is state of the art, the entire team was friendly and professional, and most importantly, the procedure was painless! Once my numbness wore off that night, I almost forgot I had anything done- there was no post-operative discomfort whatsoever! 5 stars- Thank you Dr Susi and team!

Endodontic treatment is an effective way to maintain natural teeth, which are the best foundation for functional chewing and biting over the course of a lifetime. Endodontic treatment is the choice procedure if the pulp of the tooth becomes damaged causing swelling or sensitivity.

Excited that our Chillicothe Stonecreek location is a sponsor for this amazing event! The Buck Fifty is a 150 mile relay race this weekend around Ross County, all to support 8 local high school chapters of the Drug Free Clubs of America. This will be my 2nd year running the event— I’ll be running around 7:15pm Friday, 3:30am Sat morning and 1:30pm Saturday afternoon!!!

Well look who else has an Oral Appliance for Sleep Apnea? Jimmy Kimmel’s wife Molly was cleaning out their closet and found his Somnodent! This is the same appliance I’ve used for years to help my patients with Sleep Apnea— it works great! But sounds like Jimmy isn’t very compliant! 😏

Today, August 13th, marks my 18 year Anniversary of working at Stonecreek Dental Care! How is that even possible? I calculated that’s almost 140,000 miles of driving along I-70 to or from work 😆. Time flies when you are having fun!
