🍪✨ Sweet Collaboration Alert at The Legacy at Pickerington! ✨🎄

The air at The Legacy is filled with the scent of Christmas cheer and something delicious! Our residents got into the festive spirit this week by baking up a special treat for their weekly Christmas cookie giveaway: Gingerdoodle cookies! 😋

That’s right, we combined the best of both worlds – the spice of gingerbread and the chewy goodness of a snickerdoodle – to create the ultimate holiday cookie.

It was a true community effort! The Legacy residents took the lead, working side-by-side with our wonderful Independent Living residents to mix, bake, and get these tasty treats ready. They loved spreading holiday cheer by passing them out to their peers, dedicated staff, and visiting loved ones.

Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces made every sprinkle worth it! We're already looking forward to next week's holiday baking adventure.

Our Legacy residents kicked off the holiday festivities with a high-energy round of Reindeer Antler Toss! 🎄 There was no shortage of laughter as everyone took turns donning the inflatable antlers while their neighbors aimed for a ringer.

It wasn't just about the competition; it was about the connection and festive energy that filled the room. From "pro" throws to some very "creative" detours, our residents proved they’ve still got the best aim—and the best sense of humor—in town.

Our resident Elf on the Shelf has officially arrived, and let’s just say she’s making herself right at home! 🎄✨

From swinging through the holiday trees 🎄 to playing hide-and-seek in our lobby plants 🌿, she is keeping us all on our toes. However, it looks like she may have overdone it at the hot cocoa station this morning... she’s currently recovering from a major "chocolate explosion!" ☕️ 💥
