Jump scare!
As an herbalist, here’s why it’s a no for me:
• witch hazel is typically extracted thru alcohol
• made as a tea or decoction it smells like a hospital. It’s incredibly antiseptic and drying
So regular use = goodbye healthy skin
If you’re looking for a replacement, try hydrosol of rose, lavender, calendula, or a hydrating toner.
You know where to go if you’re ready to start your skin journey!
