Merry Christmas!
We have had so much fun this month getting to celebrate our wonderful, hard working, staff as we honor them for all of the wonderful things they do throughout the year. Thank you for showing up every day to serve our residents and their families and working to ensure they are happy and well cared for. Thank you to everyone who came to our December staff meeting and potluck as well as our annual after hours Christmas Party at Tequilas, it is so much fun getting to celebrate with you!

Story: We loved having Sarah Jane from Ozark Hospice stop by to host a prize Bingo with our residents! She brought fun snacks for them to choose from and so many laughs. We are so thankful for our wonderful volunteers and their commitment to serving our residents and brightening up our day!

Checking in with Clark’s Mountain

Every year we put up multiple trees around our home as we celebrate the holidays, but this week we want to show off a tree that is special to all of our staff. Our Angel Tree is located in our small dining room full of beautiful silver and blue ornaments with crystal hearts sprinkled throughout. However, what makes this tree so special is all of the names written on little homemade “ornaments”. These names are all of our residents we have cared for and lost, dating back to January of 2020. Each year after the tree is put up and ornaments are put on, our staff gather over the course of a week and hang up the names of our wonderful residents that we have loved and lost. We take this time to celebrate them, tell stories, and keep their memory alive. Some staff members use this opportunity to pray over the families of the names on the ornaments as they face the upcoming holidays and grieve the loss of their loved one. Each person we have the opportunity to take care of is so special to us and we strive to love and remember them forever. Please stop by to see all of special people we have served and are able to honor on our Angel Tree 🩵

Happy National Gingerbread House Day 🏠

Thank goodness for a sense of humor, because this project became a challenge quickly!
