The clinic is closed today as we still have no power (lights/phones/internet). We will be answering phones remotely and rescheduling for tomorrow as power is expected to be restored today. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we, like you, are at Mother Nature’s mercy with this event.

Hometown Medical will be closed from 5/2-5/11/2025 for staff vacations. We will reopen on 05/12/2025 with normal business hours.
We will have limited computer access during this time. Please call the clinic at 417-476-3033 to schedule appointments for refills.

Update!!
The FDA has reevaluated the shortage of tirzepatide and it has been placed back on a shortage list, therefore, we are able to obtain the compounded medication at this time. If you are running low, go ahead and schedule a virtual visit or in person visit and we will get the medication ordered for you. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Tirzepatide patients: this medication has been removed from the FDA shortage list, therefore, I am not able to order a compounded version at this time. From what I understand, compounding pharmacies are working on adjusting formulations to offer a product that is not “commercially available” (adding something like B12 to the medication). If you are currently on the compounded version, call your insurance to see if they will cover Zepbound.
Semaglutide is still available. I apologize for any inconvenience and I will let you know if I can secure a compounding pharmacy with the supply of tirzepatide available.

Originally established in 2013 as an old-fashioned house call service, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location in September of 2017 in the town of Pierce City, MO. Our goal is to serve non-insured and under-insured individuals and families, offering low cost office visits, discounted labs and imaging services (x-ray / ultrasound). As a small primary care clinic we are proud to provide quality care at an affordable price. Owner and provider, Brandon Forester MSN, NP-c, has over 18 years of experience in the medical field. In addition to primary care, we also offer DOT Physicals, Sports/Camp Physicals, Foster Physicals, Court Admissible Drug Testing, and in house x-rays and ultrasounds.
