Take a close look!
March is Save Your Vision Month, a time to spread awareness about the importance of eye health and learn about common vision problems and how to prevent them.
Vision is an important sense we use to discern and experience the world around us; however, many people take their vision for granted.
There are several ways we can protect our vision:
1. Wearing sunglasses that provide ultraviolet (UV) protection to shield eyes from harmful UV rays.
2. Eating healthy foods that are good for eye health (e.g., leafy greens, broccoli, fish, fruits, etc.).
3. Taking breaks from technology or digital devices to reduce eye strain.
4. Getting enough sleep to reduce eye fatigue.
5. Scheduling regular eye exams.
By being proactive about taking care of and prioritizing our eye health, we can ensure we maintain good vision for many years.
