Jamie created this class to target the key areas that help us move safely: the core, hips, legs, arms, and shoulders. There is also a focus on balance and proprioception–our body’s ability to sense where it is in space. As we age, our risk of falling increases, and falls are one of the leading causes of injury. At the same time, the risk of osteoporosis also rises, making fractures more likely. Building and maintaining strength through intentional movement is one of the most effective ways to help keep our bones and body strong and healthy. Through targeted and purposeful movement, this class works to improve stability, coordination, and confidence while supporting bone health and injury prevention. This is a must-take class for anyone who wants to feel stronger, steadier, and more supported in their daily life. You will feel the difference in your body, your balance, and the way you move both on and off the mat!
