History came to life at North Oaks last week! 🦖

We welcomed Eric J. Seifter, Vice President of the Maryland Geological Society, to our community for an incredible presentation: “Epic Tales over 4 Billion Years Old.” Our residents took a deep dive into Earth’s history, exploring lessons of survival and change through actual fossils from ancient seas.

There is nothing quite like holding a piece of the prehistoric world in your hands!

The luck was definitely on our side this St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️✨

We kicked off the morning with coffee and Bailey’s on the 7th floor, and kept the festivities rolling throughout the day, right into our St. Paddy’s Day celebration in Wilson Hall. 🇮🇪

The day was made extra special as we celebrated the 100th birthday of one of our residents, Lorraine Berkowitz! 💯

Round two of our three-week ceramics class at Towson University is in the books!

Last Friday, our residents returned to Towson to continue working on their handmade bowls. It’s been great to see the progress and the different styles emerging as we put the finishing touches on these beautiful pieces! 🥣 🎨

Creativity with a cause! 🎨 Our residents recently visited Towson University to kick off a special three-week ceramics program.

Using molds to craft beautiful bowls, they created two pieces: one to keep, and one to donate to St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore's Empty Bowls program.

This wonderful initiative is a great way to foster creativity while supporting our neighbors!
