Blue light therapy is a non-invasive acne treatment that uses light in the blue wavelength range to kill the P. acnes bacteria responsible for acne. It can also have anti-inflammatory effects, making it a gentler alternative to traditional treatments. Blue light therapy is generally safe and well-tolerated.
