Job description
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical office. You will support the nurse practitioner and patients through a variety of tasks related to primary care. Our goal is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. We have an easy going work environment and can be flexible with time off. Hours would be Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, with a one hour lunch from 12:00-1:00. Hourly pay starting @ $11.00 and may go up with preferred experience . A resume is required.

Responsibilities

Take patient vitals
Organize and schedule appointments
Drawing blood and preparing it for lab
Referring patients to other providers
Calling patients and reading lab/test results
Assist during medical examinations/procedures
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Provide friendly service

Skills

Proven working experience as a medical assistant
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Certified in medical assistance or equivalent degree

Job description

We average 15 patients a day, so you will not have a high patient load. Hours would be Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, with a one hour lunch from 12:00 -1:00. Hourly pay starts @ $12.00 with no experience and will go up with preferred experience. We offer paid holidays and PTO. A resume and proof of vaccination is required.
