🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR KENTUCKY LAW ENFORCEMENT 🚨

Ford Mental Health Services, PLLC and the Autism Assessment Center of Kentucky are proud to offer FREE Autism Recognition & Response Training to all Kentucky law enforcement agencies — state or local.

👮‍♂️ Why this matters:
Too often, interactions between law enforcement and individuals with autism turn dangerous due to a lack of understanding. This training helps officers recognize the signs of autism, avoid tragic misunderstandings, and respond with compassion and clarity.

🧠 “If officers don’t understand autism, they may interpret someone’s silence or stimming as resistance — when it’s really just how that person copes with fear or overstimulation.”
— Dr. Leigh Ann Ford

📞 To schedule your agency’s training, call 606-432-6957 today.

This is about protecting lives, preserving dignity, and building safer communities — for everyone.

o The FDA investigation was triggered in May after Dairy Manufacturers Inc. initiated a recall due to high levels of potassium and chloride in the formula, which was distributed primarily in Texas.
o The impacted products include:
o Crecelac Infant Powdered Goat-Milk Infant Formula with Iron (0 to 12 months)
o Farmalac BABY Powdered Infant Formula with Iron (0 to 12 months)
o Farmalac BABY Powdered Infant Formula with Iron Low Lactose (0 to 12 months)
o Why It Matters: Previous Cronobacter contamination led to shortages in 2021 and 2022 when Abbott Nutrition halted production. Dairy Manufacturers Inc. does not control as much market share, and major shortages are unlikely at this time. However, an FDA Inspector General report found major deficiencies with FDA inspections of infant formula production and enforcement of standards, and additional
