If you’re a Kentucky household responsible for your home’s heating costs, you may be eligible for assistance through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

🗓 Enrollment Period: November 3 – December 12, 2025
🕘 Pre-registration: October 20 – October 31 (for seniors 60+ or households with a fixed income)

📍 Apply at your local Big Sandy Area Community Action office.

Be sure to bring:
• Proof of Social Security Numbers for all household members
• Proof of income
• Proof of address (like a utility bill)
• Your most recent electric bill (if electric is your primary heat source)
