ESM Arizona Rehab Division is hiring 🗣️

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in North Scottsdale.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in horse care, preferably with experience in show horses. This role demands a high level of expertise, and applicants without substantial horse experience will not be considered.

Duties will encompass feeding, medicating, wrapping, bandage changes, handwalking, utilizing the underwater treadmill and cold water spa, and implementing specific rehabilitation protocols.

Working hours will typically be from 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts mandatory. We do some adjustments between winter and summer seasons.

Our Story

The inspiration of the mobile clinic of Equine Sports Medicine came from Dr. Alan Donnell of La Mesa Equine Lameness Center.

As the practice evolved to support the competition athlete, Dr. Donnell’s vision expanded to serving his clients at the biggest competitions of the year. With his desire to better serve the horse show community, he founded The Equine Sports Medicine Veterinary Truck in 2001. This mobile hospital-like unit travels across the country offering in-depth diagnostics and treatments for equine athletes. Dr. Donnell’s unparalleled skills and foresight have made him one of the most sought after veterinarians at many of the major horse shows.

Dr. Donnell formed a collaboration with Dr. Dave Frisbie and the nation’s premier orthopedic research institute, Colorado State University. This alliance has inspired numerous case studies and retrospective reviews that continue to redefine paradigms of equine sports medicine.
