Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Pinckney

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Pinckney Welcome to Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Pinckney (formerly IHA Pinckney Primary Care). Caring for you is our privilege.

As family physicians, we offer quality health care for every member of your family – from newborn infants to senior adults. We are committed to working closely with each patient to achieve the best health possible through health promotion and disease prevention. If you have an urgent medical problem and need assistance when the office is closed, please call the office and your call will be directed to the Trinity IHA Call Center. The call center staff will assist you and contact the physician on-call to address your concerns. We encourage you to sign up for the MyChart patient portal, which offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical records. Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Pinckney is a designated Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH patients and their families (when appropriate) establish a partnership with their practitioners to ensure they have the support needed to make decisions and participate in their own health care. As a practice, we know that preventive care, including vaccinations, is the most important part of our service to patients and their families. To best protect your children, our other patients, as well as our staff and providers from vaccine-preventable illness, we have made the decision to only accept families into our practice who plan to fully vaccinate their children according to the CDC, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Family Physicians guidelines.

We know many of our patients are concerned about the smoke lingering in the air from the Canadian wild fires. Adults and children, especially those with existing breathing issues, like asthma, are at greater risk of developing symptoms like chest tightness or pain, shortness of breath, coughing, burning of the nose throat or eyes and feeling lightheaded or dizzy.

While there are air quality warnings, follow these tips to keep yourself and your family safe:

Monitor the current air quality in your neighborhood and follow recommendations from the EPA: AirNow.gov

Stay indoors as much as possible and watch for signs or symptoms of the harmful effects of smoke inhalation.

Call 911 if you or your child needs immediate help or contact your primary care provider with any other concerns: ihacares.com/primarycare
