LET’S HAVE A DEEPER CONVERSATION☕️
I know the “Male”ntines photo going around is meant to be parody…
but it honestly made me pause.🤔
Where are the spaces for Black men to just be? ✊🏾
Not perform.
Not compete.
Not prove masculinity or sexuality.
Just exist in brotherhood 🫂, support, and growth 👑.
And what about the brothers who didn’t go to a 4-year university…
didn’t pledge a fraternity…
don’t work in male-dominated fields?
Where do they find community, brotherhood?
We’re watching male friendships quietly disappear — especially for men who’ve outgrown the streets, are healing, building careers, becoming fathers and partners… yet feel more isolated the higher they climb.
And with mental illness rising among Black males at alarming rates… where are their safe spaces?
Where do they find acceptance?
Where do they find support?
Where do they go when they’re not okay? 💭
This isn’t about exclusion.
It’s about cultivation 🌱.
So I’m genuinely curious:
👉🏾 Where do Black men find safe, affirming spaces today?
👉🏾 What does healthy brotherhood look like in 2026?
👉🏾 And if it doesn’t exist… how do we build it?
