With your support, we are putting down roots here and hope to grow and thrive as part of this community. As a child Dr. Billuni always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. He took his first step toward achieving that dream at the age of fourteen, when he began volunteering at a veterinary hospital near his home. in Biology from University of California, San Diego in 1996 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2000. After many years working in animal hospitals and shelters he attended Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008. Dr. Billuni worked as an Emergency Veterinarian in Southern California for several years before relocating to Amador County. The Billuni family moved to Amador County to live a rural lifestyle in a welcoming and family-friendly community. He lives near Upper Ridge Veterinary Care with his wife, two children, two dogs, one cat, one horse, one donkey, and a turtle. Dr. Billuni is an experienced veterinarian capable of treating every medical need from basic animal health to the most critical cases. He is proficient in the use of the many tools of the trade, particularly using ultrasound to diagnose and treat disease. There is no companion animal that he will not see and he has provided veterinary care for chickens, ducks, goats, many types of reptiles, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and others in addition to cats and dogs.
