As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat exhaustion and dehydration. Both conditions can escalate quickly, especially in children, older adults, and those with chronic illnesses.

🚨 Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion:
~Heavy sweating
~Weakness or fatigue
~Dizziness or fainting
~Nausea or vomiting
~Headache
~Cool, pale, clammy skin
~Rapid heartbeat
💧 Watch for Dehydration:
~Dry mouth or extreme thirst
~Dark-colored urine
~Headache
~Dizziness or lightheadedness
~Confusion or irritability
~Fewer trips to the bathroom
🩺 What to Do:
~Move to a cooler, shaded place.
~Drink water slowly – avoid sugary or caffeinated drinks.
~Loosen clothing and apply cool, wet cloths to the skin.
~Seek medical help if symptoms worsen or don’t improve in 30 minutes.

~Drink plenty of water throughout the day – don’t wait until you’re thirsty.
~Wear lightweight, breathable clothing.
