Women in military serve with strength, courage, and dedication. Our grandmothers, granddaughters, mothers, sisters, nieces, and aunties have dedicated their lives to protect and uphold peace, often while facing challenges far beyond the battlefield.

In 2023 U.S. Department of defense reported over 8,800 service members reported sexual assault. Studies show that 1 in 4 military women experience sexual harassment, and 1 in 16 report unwanted sexual contact in a single year.

CSVANW supports survivors by providing connection and resources to and fight to reform a system that often silenced them. Women in uniform deserve more. They deserve safety and justice.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As the month comes to a close, we want to acknowledge the courage and resilience of survivors.

Experiencing domestic violence can have lasting effects on your mental and physical health. Healing is possible and self-care practices like breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement can help you reconnect with your body and begin to feel safe again. These tools can be powerful allies on your healing journey.

Our Resource Library offers free guided practices to support you wherever you are.

You’re not here by accident.
You’re here to make a difference.
Someone’s watching how you move, how you love, how you keep going.

Take care of yourself💕move your body, feed it with energy, speak to yourself with love.
Keep people around you who lift your spirit and remind you who you are.

You’re healing.
You’re learning.
And you’re helping others heal just by being you.

Use your good medicine.
The world needs it. 💫
