Demodex Mite
Did you know that majority of human beings have small demodex mites that live inside our eyelash follicles? They are approximately 0.3mm long and feed on skin tissue and oil. In most cases they are not harmful and you will not have any symptoms. However, occasionally they become over abundant and cause itching, redness and watering of the eyes.
