A NEW MONTGOMERY MEMORIAL: We are moving forward with a plan to build a replacement hospital for Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy, underscoring our system’s commitment to sustaining and strengthening rural health care in Montgomery County.

The $43.2 million project will replace the existing hospital with a modern, efficient 45,000-square-foot facility designed to meet the community’s evolving health care needs. The new hospital will include 9 inpatient beds, 10 emergency room bays, a procedure room and space to continue offering all current inpatient, outpatient and observation services.

HUMILITY, GRATITUDE AND COMMITMENT | Ahead of Veterans Day next week, we paused today to honor those who have served our country. We have dozens of veterans in our FirstHealth family, and their unwavering commitment to our country and the communities we serve is a constant inspiration.

Special thank you to Command Sergeant Major Lionel A. Strong for delivering the keynote address at today’s celebration. Command Sergeant Major Strong reminded us that veterans are bound together by service and a love of country. To everyone who has served, we say THANK YOU! 🇺🇸🎖️

IMPROVING MATERNAL OUTCOMES | The weeks after childbirth are often called the “fourth trimester,” and while they are filled with joy and adjustment, they can also be a vulnerable time for new mothers.

To help keep moms safe, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital has launched a new postpartum safety program that pairs education with a simple but powerful tool, a bracelet designed just for new mothers. Starting this month, every new mother leaving MRH will go home with two things: clear information about the warning signs of postpartum complications and a bracelet to wear for up to six weeks following delivery.
