MindShift brought together hundreds of football athletes from Pinellas County High schools to engage in a transformative experience focused on reshaping how behavioral health is perceived and supported among youth. This event was designed to empower students with tools, strategies, and a supportive network to foster emotional well-being and resilience.

Sam Barrington is a proud USF graduate and former NFL Linebacker with the Green Bay Packers. Off the field, he’s made a name for himself as President of Sky Limit Crane & Rigging while continuing to lead with purpose and integrity. His dedication to service has earned him recognition as the Packers’ nominee for the 2015 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

BJ Daniels is a proud USF graduate, former NFL Quarterback and Super Bowl Champion with the Seattle Seahawks. Today, he serves as Director of Partnership & Strategic Growth at Evara Health, where he continues his passion for leadership and community impact. As a mental health advocate and author of Beyond the Red Zone — a powerful story of resilience, overcoming adversity, and building mental strength — BJ brings inspiration both on and off the field.
