🍁 Our Speechies are Unbe-LEAF-able! 🍁

🍂 This month our Speech Therapy patients enjoyed a hands-on fall craft inspired by The Leaf Thief! We used shared reading to explore vocabulary, make predictions, practice turn-taking, practice articulation, AAC and talk about the changing seasons.

After reading, our patients created their own colorful leaf crafts to reinforce sequencing, following directions, and expressive language skills—plus it brought the story to life in such a fun way!

We love pairing literacy with meaningful language practice, and this charming book was the perfect way to welcome fall into our sessions. 🍂✨
